Having mind maps to link connections between flashcard would be really helpful and I think many people here also have similar problem where they do a lot of review but felt there is lack of connections between concepts and linking flashcards together would be helpful to show where they have come across similar concepts. PDF annotator showed me how far I have read so far. I would like Anki to have connection nodes to mindmap in the future like MN3 does. I still think Anki is just better on SRS regard since there is more customisation. ![]() MN3 provided a seamless way to make flashcard and better than Polar. MarginNote 3 is like Polar, MindManager, and Flashcard combined while Liquidtext is more of a pdf annotator+outline with handwriting note-taking. MarginNote is not available for Windows but there are a few alternatives that runs on Windows with similar functionality. I just checked out MarginNote 3 and LiquidText on iPad and they are both great for different reasons. There is a discussion about the future of Anki and I would like to add some suggestions.
